  • Canon Rumors - Any enthusiast knows that the camera companies are always creating new and developing new technology. And that means better, clearer, bigger, images! CanonRumors does a pretty good job on staying on top of the latest buzz about Canon DSLR technology.

  • Luminous Landscape - Awesome resource of photography in general. Tons of articles posted by various authors ranging from technical tutorials to actual "in the field" reports of how photo gear holds up in the "wild"
  • Planet 5D - Blog and general resource about people using the EOS 5D Mark 2 and the EOS 7D in photo and video productions. Subscribe to the blog!
  • Cinema 5D - Forum for people who are creating videos with the EOS 5D Mark 2 and EOS 7D. Post questions at this forum and get fast feedback!
  • My Flickr Account - Photos on flickr. If you haven't already, I totally suggest getting an account at Flickr .. It's a great community to share your photos and get feedback. And to get inspired by other peoples work!
  • Photo Bucket - Another photo hosting/sharing site .. I personally don't have an account here, but it's great for places like myspace and facebook.
  • PBase - Not as big as Flickr or Photo Bucket, but still a great community of photographers to share your work with.
  • Outdoor Photographer Magazine - If you're into nature photography, whether it be landscapes to macros, this is a great magazine that usually has good articles every month. Most of the magazine is available online, too :)
  • Creative COW - This site is awesome for anybody doing multimedia. It has a lot of tips for doing work in FInal Cut Pro, and video in general.
  • Digital Photo Pro - Another great magazine. This one focuses more on the high end photographer doing print/ad work for small to large agencies and clients. Usually has good articles on the current state of photo tech.
  • ProLost Blog - Blog run by Stu Maschwitz - He's got great perspective and reviews on making movies (and snapping pics) using guerilla methods .. Most of his content is being focused towards DSLRs now, since they are taking over ;)
  • Vincent Laforet's Blog - This guy is famous for creating the first EOS 5D Mark 2 video to that blew the minds of video pros everywhere. He continues to shoot with the 5D, and now the RED One, and 7D. Worth a look for sure!
  • Fred Miranda - Yet another great resource on photography gear. The forums are great, too .. Lots of people with opinions. Tons of gear reviews and articles to pour over.
  • Amazon - Looking to buy gear? Amazon is definitely a great place to pick up that new camera, or lens, you've been thinking about.
  • B&H Photo Video - One of the most trusted companies to order photo and video gear from!
  • iStockPhoto - I loved this site in the past, but about 6 months ago they raised their prices .. It's almost not worth anymore for me to use the site when I'm just looking for some stock content. But, if I'm in a jam and need it fast, iStock will 'most likely' have something specific. But I still don't like how they keep raising the prices.
